Well I thought maybe this would have some value. It’s an autohotkey script that shows a tooltip that indicates the status of the capslock key when you tap that key. I found the script at an ahk thread, can’t remember which one. It works, but that’s about it.

<—————————————>

~capslock::
{
settimer, removetooltip, -3000
if getkeystate(“capslock”,”t”)
{
tooltip, caps lock is ENABLED
}
else
{
tooltip, caps lock is DISABLED
}
}
return

removetooltip:
{
tooltip
}
return

What needs changing, I think, is to replace the tooltip with a GUI, so as to make the tip text bigger on screen. In GUI form, for anyone who isn’t sure, there is the option to display the information in something akin to rich text, wherein font size, boldness etc. can be manipulated. Without such options, I can’t use a computer properly.

The only thing is, I forgot how to do that stuff in Autohotkey. It’s been a while. : )

Btw, my screen reader caught an error for me, when it said “toolip” instead of tooltip. And I thought, is there a song in there somewhere, as in ‘tiptoe through the tooltips’ ? haha
