Hello, Hackateers! Welcome to the all-new, redesigned Open Thread!

Think of this as our official reboot of the Hackerspace brand. Like repairing a Fiat 500, we too will be able to run a very short time longer. And like that, every time it starts, you have to wonder what kind of life choices have I made that I am driving this heap of turd (see photo above).

With that in mind, take a look at some of the advice from our authors here on Hackerspace. We have Elena telling us about tokens. Lucy Clarke (gotta remember there is an ‘e’ at the end of Clark, so it must be pronounced klar-key) talks about investment property growth. I’m interested in both topics, but even Chuck E Cheese won’t accept my tokens anymore. They use cards now, which really sucks. I miss those germ-laden coins. At least I can still get pink eye from those game controls, though.

So, tell me crowd, what are you up to this weekend? Any good projects? I’m having my son remove the paint from the sidewalk where he thought it was a good idea to write “Kermit” and empty the entire bottle of paint all the way down the side walk. It’s thick in some parts and thin other parts, so it’s going to be a chore.
