Hello. Welcome to the Friday open thread, where once again I complain about the weather, make a barely serviceable joke, and drop some kind of reference to Andy Orin's cat blog, in an ongoing effort to get myself fired from open thread duty.
This week on Hackerspace, Anthony Dejolde told us how to write a blog post in 30 minutes, teapot shared her tips for getting in and out of a store in ten minutes, and I asked myself why in God's name everyone is in such a hurry. Bring back slow blogging, I say.
As most of you know by now, the Friday open bread is brought to you by Hackerspace, the sub-blog that was originally run by Lifehacker commenters but is now a fully owned subsidiary of Acme Corp, the world's leading manufacturer of coyote-murdering anvils. If you'd like to write for Hackerspace, please send me a money order of $50 and I will see what I can do.
