So recently I tried out this product known as the codigo cube which is a die that uses QR codes to merge your smartphone and regular tabletop games in a trivia based package. It was a pretty interesting experience and you can see more here:

I also mentioned in the video that it would be interesting see the company incorporate augmented reality into a board game type system. So instead of waiting for a company to do that I thought I'd reach out to the Hackerspace community and see if anyone could attempt this. Take a trading card game for instance and add a tracker for an augmented reality app for your smartphone for in depth game play with real attacks. Anyone who can manage that feel free to make their own article explaining how and leave a link in the comments! Can't wait to see what people could come up with!
