This week, we met with the “tile guy” regarding our bathroom remodel which...I don’t want to say how much the price tag has grown! But we’re moving things around and that takes different plumbing, new tile, flooring, tub...but one of the little hacks I’ve decided to do in the ‘new bathroom’ is using one of these because it was a good price and I thought I’d give it a try, see how it works. It’s supposed to have dual high speed chargers so I’m hoping it works.
I’ll also be putting a regular outlet in the new linen cupboard so I can keep the hair dryer plugged in but put away when not in use. I did this at our last house and it worked really well. Helped to keep my counters and such less of a mess.
What about you? Have you remodeled? Built anything? Have you used any kinds of hacker tricks? Any tips? Anything you’d do over, or not do a second time around?
In the meantime, it’s hot here again this week. Supposed to be 90 or better for the next five days or so. Does anyone in this community actually like that kind of heat? Even my dogs, who will go outside at the drop of a hat, won’t move off the couch when it’s this hot. What do you do to keep cool? Our next door neighbor had their grandkids over. In order to cool the kids off, he put a big plastic tarp in the back of his truck bed and filled it with water. I might have to try that one!
Talk to me about all those projects you’ve done. I’m always looking for ideas, tips and tricks. But as always, no politics here. Please. There are too many other places to argue over all of that. :)
