Build. Hack. Play. It's just what we do.

Here I am again with a dubious Android tip or observation. I have Solo Launcher here. I decided I wanted to see some of my pics in landscape mode. When I flipped back to portrait, a whole bunch of "problem loading widget" stickies appeared.

Problem loading *what* widget?? I couldn't get that. I'd trash the messages, flip to landscape, back they'd come.

Really it's hard knowing what to blame. I had to settle on Solo Launcher because the problem didn't happen with the stock one. Although I must say that a lot of things DO happen on the stock home screen, even when it's not default. Lots of dud Android icons, plus things added or actions taken, that should have worked in Solo but didn't, but here is the whole mess taking place on the stock home screen anyway. I don't know coding, to know what it all means.

Like the last time there was trouble, I killed all the Google services while in stock launcher mode, then restarted Solo. Problem gone.
