Tuesday Commenter App Roundup

What new app did you find this week that you want to share? Addictive game, helpful tool, or something completely different? (Filling in for HUH989 this week.)

1. Please form your responses with: [OS] App Name that links to app store location.
2. ONE app only please. Do you like a few? Come back next week and submit your 2nd.
3. You can choose whatever OS you like. iOS, Android, OS X, Windows, Blackberry, whatever.

[Android] 8sms (Stock Messaging, KitKat) - If, like me, you got yourself a Nexus 5 directly from Google, you may have noticed there's no stock messaging app. The default is to use Hangouts, but I wasn't able to send or receive pictures, and so I eventually started searching for a better app to use. The first one I came across was Sliding Messaging Pro, and if I could I would retract my app recommendation in a previous roundup comment because it wasn't able to handle group messaging or picture messaging and so was not worth the price. I also didn't like the way it would always open your most recent text thread. After that disappointment I searched again and tried out 8sms and have been very happy with it. As promised, it acts like the stock messaging app I had on my Galaxy Nexus, and has some extra settings like emoji, and how to handle group messaging, and incorporates some CM features like quick reply.
