[Android/iOS] VizSAFE - Free - If you live in California, then you are hopefully aware we're in a drought and are doing what you can to not waste water. You also may have angrily noticed a lot of automated sprinklers that overflow, or hit more sidewalk than grass, or even people with hoses spraying down sidewalks, and want those responsible to (eventually) be subjected to the new $500 fine that's been getting mentioned in the news.
VizSAFE is kind of like Neighborhood Watch, in an app that lets you report what's going on, and has recently added a drought category. So you open the app, take a picture (allowing the app to mark your location) and the proper authorities are also supposed to be monitoring. You can sign up for an account through the app itself, or on their website here.
ETA: I just installed it today, so I haven't had a chance to try it out, but will report back in the comments tomorrow. There's usually a few places I see with automated sprinklers in the morning.
ETA2: Here's a link to a news story covering this:
ETA3: Copied Kyle Galloway's style for listing 2 OS.
